Fashionably late...

Week eight is fast approaching and i've been ultra slack over updating my blog as the internet in my dorm isn't too fast and i'd rather be out exploring...but here it is!

I've had lots of work to do now that the classes have all got into full swing, some classes are much more interesting than others but overall i'm enjoying them all.

I've been doing more exploring and i'm pleased to say the oversized subway map no longer accompanies me on my travels. 

I've been to some festivals including San Gennaro in Little Italy where i gorged myself on pizza, canola, pina colada and deep fried oreos.

Last week i was invited to the Art Directors Club on 29th St by my Art Direction tutor which was really interesting. It was a combined lecture/exhibition of graphic design/art direction all related to global issues etc. Milton Glazer was a guest speaker and after his talk the vice presidential debate was screened while they handed out glasses of wine...pretty cool.
