Christmas Windows

Four weeks left! Despite the temperature being -5c we ventured out late at night once the 5th Avenue crowds had gone to look at the christmas lights and the window displays. Bergdorf & Goodman's windows won hands down in my opinion. The Saks windows still haven't been revealed yet though. Here's a few pics of them...

This week my friend Sophie came to stay. It was good to see all the sights again as i've stopped doing all the touristy stuff recently. It was sad to see her go though!

Election night

The election night was probably one of the most amazing experiences of the NYC exchange so far. We spent the evening at Times Square and witnessed Obama's speech. There were thousands of people there watching and chanting; i was completely awe struck. Sadly the next day when i tried to buy a newspaper they had all sold out all over New york by 9.30am; this morning i was told that the 11/5 New York Times was going on ebay for $450!

After accidently exposing my roll of film i had to shoot another one and develop the film in my bathroom without the help of my photography tutor. Despite getting myself in a complete and utter mess in the pitch black of my bathroom i successfully did it! This is my first ever contact sheet.
